Sometimes, a family group may include a staff member or a buyer in your fair. The same email address can be used, but it's important to know each type of account is a separate account--the selection for Participation on your Fair's welcome screen will determine what screen will be displayed after login.
(Note--the Auction Buyer participation role is optional, and will not appear unless you have Sale>>Buyers set to Allow Login)
If a family has used the same email address for Staff, Buyer, and/or Exhibitor accounts, they will select the correct participation role here.
- If they select Exhibitor, they will go to the Exhibitor Group dashboard, where they can make entries or check on previous invoices.
- If they select Auction Buyer, they will go to the Buyer dashboard, and either View an Online Auction (if you set that up), or make payments to their buyer account after purchases.
- If they select Fair Staff/Volunteer, they will go to the Staff login page and will be able to login with the permission set they have been assigned.
IMPORTANT: Each type of account is really a separate account, not just one combined account.
For example, if a fair staff member or buyer wants to make fair entries for their own family, they need an Exhibitor account. They can use the same email address that is used for the staff/buyer account, but if they have never logged in as an exhibitor with that email before, they will have to create a new exhibitor account by clicking on the link below the Forgot your password link.
