Training Outline and Registration

FairEntry Support Team -

Live webinar trainings are hosted bi-weekly (every other week) year-round. The training sequence below is the recommended order in which the training content will make the most sense. If you have never seen how FairEntry works, we recommend viewing a FairEntry demo video to get a general idea of how the program works and the features that are included. You are welcome to take the trainings below as many times as needed. There is no extra charge for the standard webinar trainings.

As our developers add and improve items in the system, based on customer feedback (yes, we do care about those post-fair surveys) you will notice those new items and changes appear in your account automatically. Please follow us on twitter or visit the updates section of the Help Center for details on newly published items. Applicable help documents and videos are updated as changes are made to the system.

Training 1: Hierarchy

Mondays at 11:00 a.m. CT

Covers the basic requirements of the spreadsheet template file to create the structure of your fair. We will discuss examples of organizing your Fair or Show's Departments, Divisions, and Classes as well as best practices and considerations that have worked well for previous customers. Training 2:
Entry Settings & Custom Fields

Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. CT

Explains the entry settings that allow you to customize the rules for entries (i.e. maximums, fees, animal requirements), and exhibitor and entry questions as part of the registration process. Also discusses setting up staff accounts, 4HOnline integration, fair-to-fair connection and animal types.

Training 3: 
Points & Premiums

Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. CT 

Covers the setup of the ribbons, placings and awards menus, budgets and assigning the correct amount of points or premium monies for Class and Division level results in preparation for judging/results entry and printing exhibitor premium checks. Training 4: Sale/Auction

Fridays at 11:00 a.m. CT

Covers the complete Sale process. Beginning with setting up your sale order, buyers list and donation recipients before the Auction begins to invoicing buyers, recording Buyer payments and cutting Sale checks to exhibitors and donation recipients after the conclusion of the Sale. The re-sale process for entries sold more than one time is also discussed as well as how to use the Auction Companion tool to share live auction results during the sale. The training concludes with a review of Sale-related reports. Trainings 1, 2 & 3 should be complete Register for Training 4: Sale/Auction

Training 5: Entry Check-Up

Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. CT

Begins with a review of entry settings, linking animal types to divisions and making sure you are ready for the entry registration process to begin. It also includes the entry process for Exhibitors and Managers making entries on behalf of exhibitors and concludes with the invoice approval process for Exhibitors and Entries. This training is a great review for returning fairs as well as for new fairs and staff.  Trainings 1, 2 & 3 should be complete  Register for Training 5: Entry Check-Up

Training 6: At-The-Fair

Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. CT

- It is recommended to take this training approximately one month in advance of the fair/event so the information is best retained to be used during the fair/event.

Cover the topics related to checking-in entries, Class Breaks, Custom Shows (programs and judging sheets), working with standard and custom reports, recording results, finalizing budgets and printing premium checks. This training is a great review for returning fairs and new staff.  Trainings 1, 2, 3 & 5 should be complete.   Register for Training 6: At-The-Fair 

Renewing Fairs Training

Mondays at 2:00 p.m. CT

For returning FairEntry customers, we offer a webinar that covers how to copy your fair over to a new year, a review of the setup items that need to be completed each year, and an overview of new features that have been added in the program since the last fair season.
