In order to judging photos in FairEntry, the photo fields must be set up as custom files for the exhibitors to upload during the registration process. Only image file types (JPEG, GIF, PNG and TIFF) may be judged in FairEntry. Other file types can be viewed or downloaded, but will not be available for photo judging.
Any managers with Fair Administrator, Fair Manager or Results Agent permissions for the level (Department, Division or Class) at which the photos have been uploaded may enter results using the Photo Judging module.
To view and enter results for uploaded photos:
- Select Class Results by Hierarchy from the Results tab.
- Select the desired class from the hierarchy.
- Select the Photos tab at the top of the list of entries to see a thumbnail of each photo associated with the entries.
- Select the camera icon to the right of the Edit button to open the Photo Judging module.
- Select the placing, ribbon and/or award for this entry and click the Save button.
- Click "Next Entry" or use the right-arrow key to go to the next entry. If you didn't click the Save button, you will be prompted to do that before continuing.
- NOTE: If the entry contains more than one photo, a thumbnail of each photo will appear at the top of the screen. Click on the thumbnails to see a larger view of each photo. You can also use [Shift]+right arrow to move to the next photo in this entry. Click on the larger photo to see the full-sized version in a new tab or click “Download” to download that photo.
- Click "Close" at the bottom right of any photo screen to close the Photo Judging module. You may have to scroll down to see that button.
- The results will appear in the Results list, and on the entry.
- You can select the camera icon next to any entry to re-open the Photo Judging module for that entry if you need to do that.
