If your fair charges fees, you must have at least one payment method enabled--checks and/or Stripe (credit cards).
- To connect to Stripe, click on the Connect to Stripe button, then enter the information that Stripe requires for the account.
- If you do accept credit cards, you have the option to Bypass Invoice Approval, which means that entries paid by credit card will be automatically approved, with no manager approval needed. This setting does not affect entries paid by check.
- If check payments are enabled, enter instructions for your exhibitors for submitting the check payments.
Processing Fees for Credit Cards:
- Entry Fees: 3.9% + $.30 per transaction (these fees cannot be charged to exhibitors)
- Online Buyer Payments (buyer logs in to FairEntry and submits sale payment info through FairEntry online sale portal): 2.9% + $.30 per transaction (these can be set to assign the fees to the buyer)
- Point-of-Sale Buyer Payments (in-person payments using a Stripe m2 reader): 2.7% + $.10 per transaction (these can be set to assign the fees to the buyer) See below for links to order these readers.
- If you enter a Terms Message, exhibitors will be required to agree to the terms before they can check out.
