Changing the Fair Name

Sometimes things happen--a fair's name is changed, a typo occurred, whatever--and you need to change the name of the fair.

You can change the name of the overall fair fixture, as well as the URL, by clicking on the Edit button beside the name of the fair on the Organization page (only accessible to Organization Admins).

However, that does not change the name of "this year's fair", as you can see in the screen shot above--the annual fairs are named differently than the overall fair name.

1. To change the name of the current fair, you need to sign in to the fair, then click on the Hierarchy menu. Highlight the Fair in the left column, and Select Fair.
   
2. On the Hierarchy Editor tab, click Edit beside the name of the Fair.
   
3. Type the correct name for the fair into the text box, and click Save.
   
4. The new fair name will display in the hierarchy, on the Organization page, and in the list of fairs that your exhibitors see when they use "Find my Fair" or log in to FairEntry.
